The Friends of the Great South West Walk is largely a self help organisation dependent on members contributions, donations and when successful, small government grants. We also rely on Parks Victoria and Department of Sustainability and Environment for some financial, technical and administative assistance.

The friends group has a steadily rising membership, which currently numbers just over 100 financial members. We greatly appreciate this patronage, and the assistance that we draw on from our pool of volunteers. Your contribution would be highly valued by us.
You may choose the level of participation that suits yourself. Some members wish to only support us with funds, others like to give up some of their time for work in kind, while others are happy to do both.

Should you choose to become a member, you have our pledge that you will be made most welcome and that any funds that you contribute, will be wisely used for the betterment of this truly magnificent walk and for the environment through which it travels.

  • Quarterly Newsletters posted to your address
  • Purchase of merchandise at wholesale rates 
  • A laminated membership card
  • The official Great South West Walk map
